The Oni Kojiro Festival is held every October at Shiroishi Castle. The main highlight is the reenactment of the fierce battle between the second generation Katakura Kojiro Shigenaga and Sanada Yukimura during the "Summer Siege of Osaka – Battle of Donjo-ji." Approximately 120 armored warriors and ninja squads participate, presenting powerful performances.
Please enjoy this event up close at Shiroishi Castle Honmaru Square. Use of public transportation is recommended, with about a 15-minute walk from JR Tohoku Main Line, Shiroishi Station, and convenient access by car.
