The Machida Jidai Matsuri 2026 will take place on Sunday, October 25, 2026. After approximately two years, this event features a historical procession that allows visitors to experience both the old and new history of Machida City. At Serigaya Park, magnificent displays of artillery, ancient martial arts, and yabusame will amaze the audience.
Additionally, a popular cosplay parade will be held simultaneously, where cosplayers in traditional attire will stroll around Machida Station, making it a fun event for families and friends. A kids' armor workshop will also be available, allowing participants to wear armor they assemble themselves and join the historical procession.
