The Masamune Ko Festival is a magnificent event that reenacts the Date warrior parade. Marching to the sound of conch shells, the cavalry and armored warriors evoke the atmosphere of the Sengoku period, resembling a historical scroll. This festival attracts many visitors, making it a spectacular sight.
This year's 63rd Masamune Ko Festival is scheduled for September 12 (Saturday) and 13 (Sunday), Reiwa 8. Participants are welcome, and there are opportunities to join as cavalry or armored warriors, so those interested should definitely apply.
